More Wildebeest Crossings at Mara River

Wildebeest crossings at the Mara River are picking up speed. More and more herds are now arriving in the Northern Serengeti, and several groups have already crossed the river in the past few days.

This follows steady movement through the Sand River area, where early herds began crossing earlier this month. Now, the Mara River has become one of the busiest spots as thousands of wildebeests and zebras move toward the Maasai Mara.

With the build up of animals on both sides of the river, more crossings are expected very soon.
