Herds have now entered the northern Serengeti, with increasing activity seen around the Sand River region. This area is traditionally one of the first crossing points for wildebeest moving out of the Serengeti and into the Maasai Mara. Early arrivals are being seen grazing and gathering near the banks, preparing for the next big push north.
