Your adventure begins in Arusha, where you’ll relax and prepare for the journey ahead. The safari opens in Tarangire National Park, famous for its towering baobabs and vast herds of elephants. From there, travel to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife within its ancient volcanic caldera. Continue to the legendary Serengeti National Park, where endless plains come alive with movement during the Great Migration. Witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras navigating the terrain, and if timing allows, the dramatic river crossings of the Mara River in the northern Serengeti. Throughout the safari, enjoy scenic drives, rich cultural encounters, and evenings under the African sky. Each day blends adventure, comfort, and authentic wilderness moments that make Tanzania one of Africa’s most unforgettable safari destinations.

Day 3 – Karatu to Ngorongoro
After breakfast in Serengeti, enjoy a drive to the Ngorongoro crater which was declared a UNESCO Heritage site. The crater was formed from a collapsed volcano and it is one of the largest extinct craters in the world. You will have a whole day of exploring around the crater.
Ngorongoro crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. This geological masterpiece was formed as a result of an extremely large volcanic explosion which caused the volcano to collapse on itself thus creating a crater. During the game drive, you will watch many resident animals including large prides of lions, packs of hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas among others and pink flamingoes at Lake Magadi found in the corner of the crater.

Day 5 – Central Serengeti
On day 5, we will explore the central portion of the Serengeti National Park. The legendary Serengeti National Park is the most renowned safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards. The central Serengeti region, also known as Seronera is known for its predators, especially the big cats. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. The area offers good access to all the Wildebeest Migration hotspots and supports a high density of plains game, leopards, cheetah and lion. The interactions and survival of these lion pride provide an excellent game viewing experience. Along with a picnic lunch during the full day game drives.

Day 6 – Central Serengeti to North Serengeti
After breakfast and check out, our drive to the Northern part of Serengeti will commence. The enroute game drive towards the Kogatende region will offer mild action from resident games. As we approach the northern part of the Serengeti, you will notice the terrain change from the usual plain grassland to a more hilly and broken terrain. The northern region offers a variety of resident game such as zebras, topi, gazelle, buffaloes, leopards and lions. A picnic lunch will be done during the day long drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 7, 8 and 9 – Northern Serengeti
We will spend the next 3 days exploring the Northern part of Serengeti. The Mara River in this region offers the most dramatic river crossing of the great migration. Watching the wildebeest surging through the torrential flow, some drowning and a few falling prey to lurking crocodiles is an unforgettable sight.
Being the migration season, you will enjoy all the action firsthand. During the dry season the permanent water sources in the valley attract plenty of resident and migratory animals, resulting in excellent game viewing. During the full day game drives, you will have your lunch in a picnic spot inside the park.
Given that Serengeti is densely populated with wildlife, you will extensively explore the park to experience all the possible game that it has to offer.
Serengeti offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it will be easy to spot them. We will be on the lookout for the Big Five – lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes and rhinos. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 10 – Northern Serengeti to Arusha
This day will be our last safari day. We will have our early morning breakfast at the camp, check out and get transferred to the airstrip for Arusha.
