In places, the vegetation is quite dense, including elephant grass and acacia woodlands. Tarangire National Park has some of the highest population density of elephants in Tanzania. Its sparse vegetation, strewn with baobab and acacia trees, makes it a beautiful and distinctive location to visit. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire National Park than anywhere else on the planet.
