Porini Mara Camp

Porini Mara Camp is an intimate, eco-friendly safari retreat located within the private Ol Kinyei Conservancy, adjacent to Kenya’s famous Maasai Mara Reserve. Tucked away in a pristine wilderness, the camp offers a classic safari experience with a strong focus on conservation and authenticity. Guests are surrounded by expansive plains dotted with acacia trees, teeming with wildlife ranging from lions and cheetahs to large herds of elephants and plains game.

The camp features just six spacious tents, allowing for an exclusive and personalized experience. Each tent is comfortably furnished with traditional safari style and includes en-suite bathrooms with hot bucket showers, flush toilets, and solar-powered lighting. The camp’s communal areas, featuring a cozy lounge and open dining area, are designed to enhance the connection with the surrounding wilderness while providing comfort and warm hospitality.

Porini Mara Camp stands out for offering a genuine safari immersion without compromising on comfort. Game drives are conducted both within the Ol Kinyei Conservancy and neighboring areas, ensuring guests experience diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife without the crowds found in the main reserve.
