Nasikia Mobile Migration Camp is a seasonal tented safari camp that strategically follows the path of the Great Wildebeest Migration across Tanzania’s Serengeti ecosystem. By relocating between the southern and northern Serengeti, the camp ensures guests are positioned close to the migration’s most dramatic moments, from calving season to river crossings. The camp features 10 to 12 spacious Meru style tents, including a family suite, each designed to provide comfort amidst the wilderness. Best Time to Visit
December to March: The camp is located in the southern Serengeti, near the Ndutu area, aligning with the calving season when wildebeest give birth on the short grass plains.
June to October: The camp relocates to the northern Serengeti, near Kogatende and Bologonja, offering prime viewing of the Mara River crossings, a highlight of the migration.
Closed: The camp is closed during April, May, and November.
How to Get There
By Air
Southern Serengeti (Dec to Mar): Fly into Ndutu Airstrip, followed by a short drive to the camp.
Northern Serengeti (Jun to Oct): Fly into Kogatende Airstrip, approximately a 45 minute drive from the camp.
By Road
Overland transfers can be arranged from Arusha or other parts of northern Tanzania, providing an adventurous journey through the countryside.
