Mara Bushtops Camp

Mara Bushtops Camp

Mara Bushtops is set within our own private wildlife reserve. Alongside the Masai, access to the Conservancy is exclusive to our Bushtops guests, who benefit from private night and off-road game drives, walking safaris direct from the Camp, sundowners, sunrises on the Sekenani hill, and visits to the nearby Kakiya cave.

Mara Bushtops has been designed to blend into its surroundings, minimizing our visual and environmental impact, whilst providing every comfort to our guests. 12 spacious and fabulously appointed luxury tents (think of a 5-star hotel room, under canvas) can be found in the following private paths from a shared space to secluded havens of privacy and calm.

When the sun sets, nature reveals new players and dramas under the moonlit skies of the Masai Mara and a night game drive is a wonderful opportunity to spot the best of Kenya’s wildlife – perhaps a lion stalking a buffalo, a leopard climbing up a tree, a silver-backed jackal running across the open plains, or a banded mongoose foraging for a last morsel of food.

Expert Insights on Mara Bushtops Camp

It’s really hard to explain or to offer photographs of something so special. The ambiance, service, and friendliness of this property are truly off the charts.

The tents are placed so perfectly that your view is stunning, from sunset to sunrise, seeing a never-ending parade of beautiful animals is incredible.
Calling the rooms “ tents” is very deceiving, they are in fact tents, but the most luxurious tents you can imagine, with every amenity found in five-star hotels.

The staff is always present, always friendly, and always one step ahead of a thing you may need. The guides will show you Africa in all its glory, our guide Tony and spotter Jackson couldn’t have been more pleasant or more knowledgeable, they made every game drive a really exciting and memorable experience.

The restaurant is world-class and the service five star. The spa is amazing. Africa is a once-in-a-lifetime trip, but we may need to make it there twice.
