Bologonya Under Canvas is a seasonal, mobile safari camp located within Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Strategically relocating three times a year, the camp follows the Great Migration, ensuring guests are always near the action. From December to March, it resides in the southern plains; from June to July, it moves to the western corridor; and from August to November, it settles in the northern Serengeti . This mobility offers unparalleled access to the migratory paths of wildebeest and zebras, as well as the predators that follow them.
The camp features ten spacious tents, each designed to blend comfort with an authentic bush experience. Tents are equipped with king size or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms with safari style showers, and solar powered lighting . A central mess tent serves as the dining area, while a lounge tent provides a space for relaxation. Evenings are often spent around the campfire, sharing stories under the starlit African sky.
Bologonya Under Canvas emphasizes eco-friendly practices, utilizing solar energy and minimizing its environmental footprint. The camp offers a range of activities, including game drives, guided walks, and cultural visits to nearby Maasai villages. Its commitment to sustainability and community engagement ensures a responsible and enriching safari experience.
