In the Central Serengeti, around the Nyaruswiga regions and Seronera areas, large groups of wildebeests have been spotted gathering once again. The herds are slowly building up in number, feeding on the remaining grass and preparing for the next leg of their journey.
This area, known for its open plains and scattered woodlands, is a popular stopover during the migration. Wildebeests, along with zebras and a few gazelles, are seen moving in restless waves as they begin to feel the pull of the north. With the rains fading and the grass drying out, their natural instinct kicks in, driving them to start heading toward the northern Serengeti and eventually the Maasai Mara.
