Nyikani Camp Serengeti is a semi-permanent tented camp located at the foot of Banagi Hill in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Positioned just a 20 minute drive from Seronera Airstrip, the camp offers panoramic views of the surrounding plains and is strategically situated for year round wildlife viewing, especially in the Seronera River Valley. The camp’s design incorporates local crafts and vibrant colors, providing a modern yet authentic safari experience.
The camp comprises 12 guest tents and 1 family tent, each featuring en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets, double washbasins, and safari style bucket showers. Private, shaded verandas overlook the Serengeti ecosystem, and tents are spaced approximately 20 meters apart to ensure privacy. Additional amenities include indoor and outdoor lounge chairs, writing desks, digital safes, and universal power adapters.
Communal areas consist of a large living tent with a bar and library, a separate dining tent, and a campfire area where guests can relax and share stories. Nyikani Camp Serengeti offers full board and game packages, with meals prepared by professional chefs who cater to various dietary requirements, including vegetarian and vegan options. The most convenient way to reach Nyikani Camp Serengeti is by air. Scheduled flights are available from Arusha and other major Tanzanian airports to the Seronera Airstrip. From the airstrip, the camp is approximately a 20 minute drive, offering guests an introduction to the region’s diverse landscapes and wildlife.
