Naibor Luxury Camp

Naibor Luxury Camp is a stylish tented safari retreat nestled in the heart of Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve. Situated along the banks of the Talek River, the camp offers guests an immersive experience amidst the African wilderness. The surrounding riverine woodland provides a serene backdrop, while the proximity to the river ensures frequent sightings of hippos and other wildlife.

The camp comprises three distinct accommodations: Main Naibor with seven luxury tents, Little Naibor featuring two spacious suites, and Naibor Wilderness offering three double/twin tents. Each tent is thoughtfully designed to provide privacy and comfort, blending seamlessly with the natural environment. Guests can enjoy en-suite bathrooms, flush toilets, safari showers, and private verandas that overlook the surrounding bushland.

Naibor Camp is strategically located near one of the famed wildebeest migration crossing points, making it an ideal base for witnessing this spectacular event. Beyond game drives, the camp offers a range of activities including guided bush walks, cultural visits, and hot air balloon safaris, ensuring a comprehensive and enriching safari experience.

Best Time to Visit

The optimal time to visit Naibor Luxury Camp is during the dry season from July to October, coinciding with the Great Migration when vast herds of wildebeest and zebras traverse the Mara River. This period offers exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities. The shoulder seasons of January to March and November to December also provide rewarding game viewing with fewer tourists. The camp typically closes during the long rains in April and May.

How to Get There

Scheduled flights from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to Ol Kiombo Airstrip take approximately 45 minutes. From the airstrip, it’s a short game drive to the camp.
