Encounter Mara Camp

Eco-friendly tented safari on the edge of the Mara, with wildlife on your doorstep

Encounter Mara Camp is a luxury eco-friendly tented camp nestled in the heart of the Mara Naboisho Conservancy, a private conservancy bordering the Masai Mara National Reserve. The camp offers an exclusive safari experience, away from the crowds, with access to incredible wildlife encounters, including one of Africa’s highest concentrations of lions.

The camp’s design seamlessly blends into the surrounding landscape, providing guests with spectacular views of the open savannah from their private verandas. The spacious canvas tents offer comfort and elegance while maintaining a minimal environmental footprint. Each tent is carefully positioned to maximize privacy and wildlife viewing, allowing guests to wake up to the sights and sounds of the African bush.

One of the main advantages of Encounter Mara Camp is its location within a private conservancy, which means off road game drives, night safaris, and walking safaris are allowed, activities that are not permitted in the main Masai Mara Reserve. This makes the camp an excellent choice for travelers seeking a more immersive and intimate safari experience. Guests are guided by expert Maasai guides who share their deep knowledge of the land, wildlife, and traditional Maasai culture.
