The journey has just begun, The great migration moving out from the southern plains of Serengeti after synchronized calving continues with migration. This herd was spotted in Southern Serengeti.
During this time of the year, the herds are following food and water, and they will be moving up north of Serengeti as the long rainy season starts in mid-March in the Central Serengeti and Northern Serengeti.
Follow these herds as they enter the Central and Eastern Serengeti region for the next two or so months.
