First Sand River Crossing of the Season

The herds have been sighted crossing at Sand River in the northern Serengeti. Early groups have already been gathering in the area over the past few days, and with the first crossing now complete, momentum is expected to build quickly. Wildlife activity around the riverbanks has increased. Already, some herds have been sighted within the Maasai Mara, confirming that the migration has officially begun spilling across the border.
