This is the time of year that wildebeest are gathering on the Serengeti’s Southern plains ready to calve. This is a calving sighting spotted near Lake Ndutu, where more than 500,000 wildebeests are converged solely to give birth. As a crucial stage in wildebeest migration, they spend 3 months in this region to develop their calves due to the other long journey around the Serengeti and Mara Ecosystm.
