This period offers dramatic wildlife encounters, especially near the river crossings. Another excellent window is from December to March, which sees fewer crowds, pleasant weather, and excellent resident wildlife sightings. The green season from April to June offers stunning landscapes and lush vegetation, though rain can be more frequent.
