Kitich Camp is a charming, remote safari retreat tucked away in the lush forests of the Mathews Range in Northern Kenya. Often described as a hidden forest gem, Kitich offers a rare combination of wilderness, privacy, and comfort, making it ideal for travelers seeking a more off the beaten path experience. Surrounded by dense indigenous forest, crystal clear mountain streams, and dramatic hillsides, the camp blends rustic luxury with nature immersion.
Unlike typical savannah camps, Kitich Camp is all about forest safaris, think walking adventures through ancient cedar trees, swimming in natural rock pools, and observing forest wildlife like elephants, leopards, rare birds, and monkeys right from camp. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, with lantern lit dinners, campfires under the stars, and the sounds of the forest always in the background.
