Best Time to Visit &Beyond Klein’s Camp
The best time depends on what you want to experience. From June to October, the dry season makes animals easier to spot as they gather near water sources. This is also when the Wildebeest Migration often passes close by, giving you a chance to see dramatic river crossings. From November to March, the landscape turns green after the rains. This season is less crowded, very beautiful, and perfect for birdwatching. April and May are the wettest months, which can make travel trickier, but the scenery is lush and full of life.
How to Get to &Beyond Klein’s Camp
The easiest way to reach Klein’s Camp is by air. There are daily scheduled flights from Arusha and Kilimanjaro airports to Klein’s or nearby Lobo airstrip. From there, it’s about a 30 minute to one hour drive to camp, depending on where you land. If you prefer road travel, you can also drive from Arusha through the Serengeti, but it takes about 8 to 10 hours. The drive is long, yet it offers a chance to see different landscapes and wildlife along the way.
