&Beyond Klein’s Camp

Secluded luxury on the edge of the Serengeti

Perched on the edge of the Kuka Hills in northern Tanzania, &Beyond Klein’s Camp offers an exclusive safari experience within a 10,000 hectare private concession bordering the Serengeti National Park and the Maasai Mara. This secluded setting provides guests with panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and rolling hills, teeming with wildlife. The camp’s location in a vital corridor for the Great Migration ensures front row seats to one of nature’s most spectacular events.

The camp features ten stone cottages, including a family suite, each thoughtfully designed with thatched roofs, en-suite bathrooms, and private verandas overlooking the vast plains. The main lodge houses a cozy lounge, dining area, and a well stocked bar, all adorned with local Maasai crafts and offering a warm, inviting atmosphere. A sparkling swimming pool tucked into the hillside provides a refreshing retreat after a day of exploration.

&Beyond Klein’s Camp is deeply committed to sustainability and community engagement. Leased from the local Ololosokwan community, the camp employs a significant number of staff from neighboring villages and supports various community development projects, including education and healthcare initiatives. This partnership ensures that guests not only enjoy an exceptional safari experience but also contribute positively to the local community.

Best Time to Visit &Beyond Klein’s Camp

The best time depends on what you want to experience. From June to October, the dry season makes animals easier to spot as they gather near water sources. This is also when the Wildebeest Migration often passes close by, giving you a chance to see dramatic river crossings. From November to March, the landscape turns green after the rains. This season is less crowded, very beautiful, and perfect for birdwatching. April and May are the wettest months, which can make travel trickier, but the scenery is lush and full of life.
