A Cheetah Hunting Wildebeests in Ndutu

A Cheetah Hunting Wildebeests in Ndutu

A cheetah hunt is one of the most amazing things to see on safari. Cheetahs frequently hunt during the daytime so it is a distinct possibility. Usually, the cheetah will ambush their prey from the back or side, sneaking up close before rushing and chasing.

In this case, that tactic wasn’t required. The three cheetah brothers waited as the herd moved closer and closer as they hid in tall grass. They decided on a moment and then ran into the herd in a flash, causing a brief stir as they chose their victim and took him down.
